Violinist Vadim Gluzman teams up with the Colorado-based ensemble COmpass REsonance (CORE) in an album of works by J.S. Bach and the Ukrainian composer Valentyn Silvestrov (b. 1937), whose three works on the album are influenced by and dedicated to Bach himself. "Playing on baroque bows while using modern tuning, we sought to build a bridge between the Baroque tradition and the 21st century," Gluzman said.
